Theresa started practicing Jiu Jitsu in 2003 under Professor Plavcan in his first academy. As a long time athlete, the ability to learn and compete in a new sport, after a collegiate softball career, was an exciting opportunity. She’s been hooked ever since! She started training Muay Thai under John Fehling in 2006, receiving a foundational level instructors certification. She continues to train under Troy Ninedorf and in August of 2019 tested with Grandmaster Ajarn Chai Sirisute, President and Founder of the World Thai Boxing Association, to receive the WTBA 1st Level Instructor Certification. She enjoys sharing her passion for Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu with others.
